We love children and their families at Sylva FUMC! Each week, we have spiritual growth opportunities for children from birth through fifth grade. In addition to our Sunday programming, we have several large-scale events throughout the year, including the Me & You Dance, Camp Patton Springs, and Vacation Bible School! We follow our Safe Sanctuaries policy, which is in place to protect children, youth, and vulnerable adults from abuse. Click the buttons below to access our policy and training materials.

-Nursery- We offer a nursery on Sundays beginning at 9:45 for infants and children until pre-k or depending upon their needs.
-First Kids Grow- This is our spiritual growth class (Sunday school) for kids aged kindergarten (or pre-k, depending upon the child) through 3rd grade. Held in the Pinnacle Room following worship.
-The Bridge Group- *new* Our goal is to begin a "tween" group for kids in the 4th and 5th grades. This class will allow them to go a bit deeper in discipleship than First Kids Grow.
